What is this movie about?
Life of Pi is talking about an Indian boy named Pi who was on a ship with his parents and brother in order to immigrate to the US. However, they were in a horrible shipwreck and Pi was the only survivor who lived on a little boat with a furious tiger for hundreds of days. They started a surprising journey and tried to live in the ocean. You will be amazed by lots of gorgeous scenery and awesome sites, and also be touched by the friendship between the boy and the tiger.
What is happening in this clip?
When Pi woke up finding that his family was gone and there was only a tiger with him, he tried every way to make himself alive and force himself not to give up. He wrote letters and put them into bottles, hoping they someday will go to another person's hand.
The character in this movie clip is only a man and a tiger. The man seems to be stranded in the ocean with a tiger. He has to survive and feed the tiger as well. The man tried to search help by writing letter but in vain. I would like to know whether they can survive eventually or not, and if the answer is Yes, how they do it.
回覆刪除They survived eventually thanks to their perseverance and the spirit of never giving up, and also the friendship between the tiger and the man.
回覆刪除It's a really famous movie! I didn't watch it before. But it looks like in the very beginning of the entire movie, Pi is introducing himself to the viewers. I think the way the director took the video is a bit dull hehe, but maybe it is because the following story will also be continued in a slow paces. I will take a look to check whether I think it's true or not! :D
回覆刪除There are only few words in this clip. I think it’s a soliloquy of Pi about what happened to him and his situation now. He is staying along with a tiger on a little boat, drifting on the ocean. And he writes down those words in a piece of paper, puts it into a can, and throws it into the sea. He does these things with is to ask someone who receives the letter to save him, though the hope is little.
回覆刪除I haven't seen the movie. The beginning of the movie arise my curiosity to know Pi's following journey.In addition,it is quite interesting that the plot arranges a boy getting along with a tiger.I think directer may want audiences to ponder a relationship between human and animals.
